One of the easiest pasta to prepare is the "Aglio Olio"
It simply means garlic and oil in Italy..my version is a bit more
complicated cause I added more ingredients.
complicated cause I added more ingredients.
I'm sharing my recipe with you but you can put whatever ingredients you like.
I prefer all-veggies so i added my favorite zucchini for this recipe.
First, boil about a liter of water while preparing the ingredients:
250 gms Capelinni or Angel Hair pasta
1/3 cup pure olive oil
3 ripe tomatoes, sliced
6 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 medium size zucchini, sliced
1/2 cup button mushrooms, pieces and stems
1/3 cup black olives, sliced
a handful of fresh basil leaves
2 tbsp. tomato paste
salt & pepper
grated parmesan cheese
When the water boils, add the angel hair pasta and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
Drain and add olive oil to prevent the pasta to stick together.
Do not rinse with cold water.
Saute the ingredients, adding it one at a time.
Start with the tomatoes, then add the zucchini, mushroom
and black olives. Add salt & pepper.
Add the tomato paste.
Add the angel hair pasta little by little.
Toss the pasta until the tomato paste is evenly distributed.
Add the fresh basil leaves and garlic when your pasta is well-mixed.
Toss the pasta until the basil and garlic are evenly distributed.
Tara! You're pasta is ready. Cooked in less than 15 minutes.
Sprinkle some parmesan cheese upon serving.
